At the end of the project, a final survey is typically required by lenders to close out the construction loan - verifying that all improvements, including the driveway, sidewalks, outbuildings, and/or pools, are built within the property lines and easements. If your property is in a floodplain or subject to municipal regulations, you may also need elevation certificates or additional surveys, each adding to the overall cost.
To reduce out-of-pocket costs, Kurk Homes provides an allowance for a form survey as part of our included features. If a final survey is required, many of the lenders will roll this cost into the construction loan.
