How many shades of green can homes be? As plentiful as the shamrocks in Ireland, say we! Here are some of our favorite green houses (or roofs!) we've custom designed and built for our homeowners:
Painted Green James Hardie:
The house of windows! With so much light coming in, this family could choose a vibrant green for their exterior James Hardie Shake shingles.
The combination of a bright olive board and batten James Hardie siding and rust colored brick is a real eye-catcher!
Here the soft sage, almost grey-green, combination of vertical and horizontal James Hardie accented by dark shutters, white decorative trim and railings, and a mixed palette of cultured stone makes this home a show stopper.
Such a fun mixture of materials in this contemporary home! We love the soft greens again in vertical and horizontal James Hardie; plus, this home has stone mixed with old-fashioned brick accents and even galvalume metal siding.
This home tucked among the trees showcases a pale green color on the James Hardie siding with a lovely blend of cream colored stone.
Lastly, this adorable Craftsman (Arts 'n' Crafts) styled home was a joy to design and build for a sweet family. Such a fun and bright green color on James Hardie siding, with an added pop of yellow for the garage door, is sure to be a favorite among its urban setting!
Shutters in a Shade of Sage:
This beautiful French Country home is highlighted by the deeper sage color of the shutters. We also are a fan of those brass old-school lanterns!
St. Patrick's Favorite Roof Color:
This family selected a deep olive trim and green, yes GREEN, Elk/GAF composition shingles. And it looks great! The pairing of deep olive trim and khaki colored James Hardie siding along with natural cedar trusses and shutters makes for a very attractive home!
