The successful fundraising tour concluded in March 2023, with 100% of the ticket proceeds benefiting two outstanding Veteran groups: Camp Hope (PTSD Foundation of America) and Operation Finally Home. This exquisite modern farmhouse spans 3,755 square feet and is situated just south of Kyle Field.
Since 2017, Kurk Homes has been part of the Southern Living Custom Home Builder Program which allows us to create home plans with a Southern Living design. The horseshoe shaped driveway is highlighted by a soldier course of charcoal pavers outlining the entire driveway along with herringbone accents on the entry and parking area.
The front porch is welcoming with the natural tones on the cedar-wrapped columns, shutters, flower boxes, and front door header. The haint blue ceiling color, perfect to ward off spiders, insects and potential evil spirits (according to Southern folklore) completes the look.
Kitchen & Breakfast Area
Serving as the entertaining heart of the home, the kitchen hosts plentiful cabinetry space with seeded glass uppers and an oversized workstation sink on a natural wood island for a comfortable, yet elegant look. Two-tone quartz countertops and marble backsplash are balanced by a stained maple ladder, granting access to the top cabinets that reach up to the 12' ceiling. 
The breakfast area features a banquette connected to the outdoor living space by a set of folding windows, bringing in light and allowing for plenty of conversation.

A super pantry - or messy kitchen - of dreams, complete with a sink, microwave, and second dishwasher plus ample storage and counter space provide a separate working space from the main kitchen. The shiplap around the entire room combined with the black built-in hutch with the open brass lattice work and contemporary sliding glass door perfectly blends the features of a modern farmhouse design.

Featuring an accent wall with batten trim in a dramatic grey-green, the hallway from the western owner suite to the garage is transformed into an art wall complete with three complementary paintings highlighted by artistic sconce lighting. Game Day Room
No home this close to Kyle Field would be complete without an oversized game day room! Designed for hosting football fans, the second living room contains full kitchen cabinetry with a hidden microwave beside the full-size refrigerator, bartop seating and a shuffle board for commercials. The accent wall features vintage elements from Texas A&M University, flanking the oversized television.

Continuing the vaulted ceiling outside extends the visual space through a cased sliding door unit topped with transoms that lead to a balcony with a tongue & groove stained pine ceiling overlooking the community lake.
Garage & Doggie Shower
With two bays for vehicles and a roll-up door for lawn mowers, golf carts, and other toys, the garage is sure to have plenty of room. Tucked near the pedestrian door is the doggie shower, a raised mud-set tile shower with decorative tile and a hand-sprayer for ease of cleansing the canine friends. Above the garage features a decorative cupola, complete with the ever-Southern style weathervane of an extended trotting horse.
